Service overview

CPU, power supply, digital and analog I/O and communication modules are assessed individually. Program and parameter backups are taken where technical access allows; firmware, passwords and project files are not requested when you submit your request.

The LED status can also be selected as text in the form; we do not rely on colour symbols alone.

  • Does not switch to RUNThe CPU status does not change or the error LED is lit.
  • I/O channel problemA specific input or output does not respond.

Analysis and testing approach

I/O testing and hardware assessment are carried out according to the scope of the device. Support for older series is offered as a model assessment; no guarantee of outcome is given for all models.

Do you have a program backup? If so, please mention it; if not, the possibility of taking a backup is assessed at diagnosis. Related device: HMI and Operator Panel Repair.
