Service overview

Servo motors with position deviation, vibration, overheating or brake problems are assessed in our Beylikdüzü laboratory together with their mechanical, electrical and feedback systems. The repair scope is communicated in writing after diagnosis.

We work independently of brand. Including the model and serial details in your request speeds up the assessment; if the model is unknown, a photo of the rating plate is sufficient.

02

Which symptoms call for an assessment?

  • Position deviationThe axis does not hold its target or stops with an alarm.
  • Vibration and noiseUnusual noise, resonance or shaking during operation.
  • OverheatingThe housing is hotter than normal; thermal alarm.
  • Brake problemThe brake does not hold or does not release; the axis drifts.

A symptom is not a diagnosis; the cause becomes clear during laboratory diagnosis.

03

Work performed

The work performed depends on the device design and the diagnosis.
AreaDescription
Feedback (encoder / resolver)Assessment of signal integrity, alignment and connections.
Bearings and bearing seatsCheck of wear, play and noise sources; replacement where necessary.
BrakeHolding and release behaviour, coil and mechanical check.
Winding and rotorElectrical measurements, insulation and mechanical integrity.
04

Analysis and testing approach

After repair, feedback verification, electrical checks and an operational test permitted by the model are carried out. The test scope is determined by the device model and the repair performed; the same procedure is not assumed for every motor.

A motor alarm does not always mean a motor fault. The drive, cable and motor are assessed together. If the symptom originates in the drive, see the Servo Drive Repair page.

Quotation, approval and delivery process

  1. Registration

We record the device details and symptoms and send you a reference number.

  2. Analysis

The fault is diagnosed in the laboratory, so it is clear what has failed.

  3. Quotation and approval

Scope and price are confirmed in writing; nothing is done without your approval.

  4. Repair

The repair is carried out within the approved scope; you are informed of any deviation.

  5. Testing and delivery

The device is tested under suitable conditions and returned with a short technical summary.

06

Preparing for shipment

Pack the motor with its original fasteners so that the shaft and connectors are protected. If available, note the alarm history and any previous repair information. Follow electrical and mechanical safety rules during removal; no instructions for hazardous dismantling are given here.
